Very intresting analysis on Panthers offence

For those who don't know, Profootballfocus is a great website that studies every play and game of every player and rates them using statics and then complies that up for overall rankings at there position and overall analysis. They know there poo.

The most intresting comes from the view on the offensive line.

for a lot of pundits you either have a tony gonzalez or you are weak at TE.

Interesting site. My only problem with their ratings is when you look up QB's, out of 75 spots, they have Jake ranked at 41 and Moore at 68. Sorry, but I just don't think Moore ranks 68'th out of 75. Seriously, that means they think he is the 7th WORST QB in the NFL - 23 spots lworse than Jake!

Sorry but I can't take anything they say too seriously with those type of rankings.

From a total yards or number of catches point of view our TEs are not as prolific as many teams given ours actually block. But from a yards per catch point of view, Barnidge is the top tight end in the league averaging over 20 yards per catch. Sure he has only 12 catches and 242 yards but he is a big play threat and spreads the field. Something we haven't had here in almost a decade. Rosario and King are actually pretty good players in that Rosario can catch and block some while King can block and catch some. They complement each other. We will not likely have dynamic TEs as long as they have to block as well as catch. But Barnidge is beginning to demonstrate his ability. Hopefully he gets more work in the last 2 games as well.

There rankings get a little skewed after the top 32. Thats a result of limited playing time Moore has only played three games with one of them good. Theres not much to go on
