How much do you think Tepper influenced "the pick"

We know that he influenced needing to get to #1, that's fine and I appreciate him being aggressive

 

But will we ever know how much was Bryce a Tepper pick versus football guys (Reich, Morgan, Fitterer) pick because if he at the end influenced who we should draft then this franchise is doomed during the reign of his ownership

I think you guys waste way too much of your time worried about Tepper. Every single one of the Panthers failures plays out on the field, and he is the least replaceable person out of everyone in this organization.

Please stop. Bryce was the right pick. Say it with me. Bryce Young was the right pick. That doesn't mean he'll have the better career. Takes a team to WIN. But he was the right pick for this team and this offense. Just need a little more creativity in getting these receivers open. They are not able to consistently do it on their own.

I thing Dave is actually doing everything and the people you see that are not Dave or the players are just paid actors.  He is making picks, designing offense, calling plays, wrapping ankles, filling the water coolers, ALL of it...

Well, considering Tepper was already enamored with Bryce when he met him at the superbowl and told him he would love to see him in Carolina. Not to mention his wife "falling in love" with Bryce, I'd say he and his wife pretty much made the decision. As a new coach, are you really going to go against the grain of your boss man and his wife? Yeah, no.

When did we start blaming owners for bad offenses? He isn't the GM or coach. He pays the bills. And Tepper will pay to bring in the best guys available. That's all you want in an owner. Rhule was a hot commodity when he came here. It didn't work. Tepper moved on before the contract was over. He payed Rhule to leave Carolina when it was obvious he wasn't the guy! And he's PAID for an all-star staff here now! That comes out of his bottom line. That ain't cap folks!

Daniel Snyder had his hands all over Washington and repeatedly over ruled his football guys. He's actually the reason Burns is a Panther. The GM and coaches didn't want Haskins but that was who he wanted and he made that pick. They took Sweat, an edge rusher, with their second 1st rounder.

Because his skill set is better for this team and the offense they're running. Quick reads into constant tight windows wouldn't have been more appropriate for CJ, AR or Levi.

Wasn’t it reported that he went to dinner with Bryce and Reich and he was “blown away” by Bryce? I would guess he had a big say in it. He was also “blown away” by Rhule too….
