When a former division opponent identifies that a #1 WR isn’t being used right what do you think that says about Bryce Young.

He is probably sick of being on hopeless teams. I don't blame him. He can ask for a trade or wait and see who the new staff and QB are next year and then ask for a trade. Hell he could still request it this year in a few games justifiably.

Getting traded from a bottom team to another can't be fun.

Ummm...we allegedly have an All-Star coaching staff surrounding him. Coaching isn't the problem. We also traded away next years first round pick, which coincidentally goes to the Bears.

So guess what? The Bears may be getting two top 5 picks, they can offload Fields for a decent pick as well, they will fire their staff, get a new staff, and get the chance at Drake Maye, Caleb Williams, and Marvin Harrison Jr. with an offensive minded coach and a great core of guys that can win pretty much right away.

We gifted the Bears the potential to have a dominant decade, if they play their cards right.

Frank Reich, Dom Capers, and Jim Caldwell.  A trio of 60+ year olds is where that narrative was created off of.

We never had an all star coaching staff.  It was just an all star staff in comparison to the Matt Rhule era.  A big difference.

*we do have 2 young coordinators that we legitimately could be excited about landing.   But Frank's in the way of one of them.  Frank is calling the plays.   And it's not just him calling the plays, it's Frank's core offense/scheme.  Not the OCs.

Justin Fields is a dogshit passer, playing in a Mickey Mouse, dogshit system.  What does he expect?

watch the film lol

he should have. Way more tbh

The quarterback isn’t playing well. That’s not being used wrong. He’s being used right, the QB is off. If Chark runs a go and gets open but Dalton doesn’t throw it, is that Chark being used wrong?

And also what do folks want DJ to say back to the defender? No this is exactly how I should be used?

“Watch the film” is such a low effort thing to say around here by trolls for the most part.

I was always most excited about Brown and Evero. You are right Brown is being wasted right now.

It's not a good look when player like White thinks a WR is being used wrong.   I mean he definitely has a front row seat and no reason to make that comment.

    • I think that had his knees been in good shape, he would have been extended by now.  My opinion is based on the fact that they do not to seem very confident about his knees, so should we?  On the other hand, all veterans are playing with some chronic injury of some sort, so how much weight do you give it?  And in today's market, Moton's salary is not overblown.  Unless your concern becomes a problem, you stay the course, I would think.  But Moton will probably not be our tackle when we are a playoff team, so the time to start grooming his successor is probably this year.
    • The Athletic FS had a Panthers fan write in about Mykel vs Jalon. Derrick K was surprisingly in favor of Mykel but gave a pretty compelling argument. You’re getting a baseline great run defender with some nice pass rush potential. You’re not getting the hyper athletic, violent, burst off the snap type, but he’s a grinder who can maintain a great level of play throughout a game. He’s the ideal type to eventually have paired with the more peppy/athletic edge rusher. No one says to avoid a 1B just because you don’t have or can’t find a 1A. And who knows, he could still become a double digit sack guy. 86” wingspan is monster. With Jalon, you’re using him as an EDGE. So you’re banking him fitting a super rare spot, that only Parsons has really followed through at. Myles Jack and others just didn’t work out as well. They mentioned you may just be getting a shorter Luvu-plus rather than a Parsons-lite.  Mykel at 8 will not surprise me in the least, and it could be a solid move.
