What record gets Reich fired?

As others have said, in the extremely unlikely 0-17, he's gone.

I don't see how you justify a second year no matter what your perspective is. We didn't build this offseason or the past two years as if we were in a rebuild. Quite the contrary.

If that was the result, Fitterer and Reich would be unemployed.

Hopefully we don't go 0 - 17 but assuming we don't miss it by much, we'll see...

Like I said in the offseason, anything less than Wilks SHOULD get him fired.

But that shouldn't even be the point. Even IF we fire Reich, does anybody actually have any faith in this organization that we will hire the right coach next time? Until Tepper and his wife are removed, this will be a bottom 5 team for a long time.

Lol, I don't see Reich getting fired after one season...

You may be right, but 3-14, 2-15, 1-16 or 0-17 will be a very hard pill to swallow. Fans will be calling for his head. And don't let Houston and Stroud show tons more. Tepper will likely be on a slow boil, and Nicole will be in his ear.

I think if Wilks was retained, with the way we finished the year, that anything below .500 would have been a disappointment.

So it’s interesting (and this may be people defending Bryce, or just revising expectations) that after two weeks, we are talking 4 wins/6 wins etc keeps Reich around, when this staff was supposed to be an UPGRADE, and Bryce, albeit a rookie, was supposed to be an UPGRADE from what we had at the position last season.

So maybe the Falcons and Saints are both playoff teams and we don’t know it yet; maybe we start beating bad teams like Wilks did, and we realize this as the year develops…

But if, in the end, WE are one of the bad teams, instead of a team that beats bad teams but loses to good ones…

I’m fine letting this staff go bye bye after this season.

The only silver lining to this fiasco is I know Tepper is fuming. I think it's hilarious. If Reich and Co keep embarrassing Dave I wouldn't put anything past him if things get bad enough. I mean we're starting Andy Dalton. It's either going to go well or it's going to be a steaming pile of poo.

Different staffs have different offenses and different schemes in which they need different sets of players to fit into these schemes.  I understand what you are saying, but you could get stuck playing that game of firing year 1 coaches every year.  If Bryce proves to be a decent QB that could help the next group, but if he does then we probably won't fire this group so soon.  Bengals sucked in year one of Taylor, Sean Peyton is 0-2 as well.  I know we finished strong last year, but it was easy to tell we were just running over teams that couldn't stop the run and failed to compete with any other teams.  The Bengals game shows you how bad we really were.
