If this injury does sideline Young it may be a blessing in disguise.

Allows the coaches to take a second look at why the offense is floundering, we supposedly have an all-star crew, and Qb gurus, so it's no way we should be ranked dead last in passing. Is it the playcalling, skill positions, or the game being too fast for Byrce right now.

Sunday can help answer alot of that, and see what adjustments need to be made going forward.

It’s 100% the play calling and the terrible skill position players. It’s not hard to figure out. Unless you’re one of those who want to blame everything on our rookie QB who just played his second game (and didn’t even play that badly all things considered)

with no 1st round pick......

lol we’re not fuging going 0-17. That’s absurd. For 1, we just played 2 division rivals, who both have good defenses. And we stuck with them all game. We’ve lost by a combined, what, 12 points in 2 games? Bryce completed 67% of his passes and threw 0 picks against one of the top all around Ds in the entire NFL.

but but muh prevent defense so it doesn't count, he's Jimmy Clausen

Meanwhile CJ "Baby GOAT" Stroud TORCHED the defense from the moment he fell behind 31-10 in the fourth quarter and YOU KNOW they were never in prevent at any point 😭

It definitely isn't all on Bryce he's a rookie who hasn't played a quarter of a season yet.

I'm not sold on the terrible receiver narrative just yet. I do think Bryce is forcing too many passes to Mingo there connect percentage is terrible.

Most of my blame has been on the playcalling, but Bryce has to play better as well. I want to see what the offense looks like with Dalton before I draw too many conclusions.

What all did we know two games into Sam Darnold's 2021 season?

You know better than that

remember when we had a two TE receiver threat …we have what , 4 TEs on the team ..good times

how many receivers or TEs caught passed  last game ?

I know. I know. NO has this world class defense that can’t be thrown on

    • There's a real physical toll that playing in the NFL takes on the body.  Certain things just won't work the same, which will make some of those challenges painful and hard.  These folks are all rich and have cushy lives to return to.  I'm not saying Cam will leave first, but I can see it after a few episodes when old injuries flare up.  Or he decides he's done with it.
    • His size could work against him…BUT Cam is a weird duck.  He was wired differently.  I would bet on the young Cam that could barely get dressed after a loss….that dude wouldn’t have quit easily IMO.  But that dude doesn’t exist anymore.
    • i got attacked by a housecat once. pretty terrifying.  i was at a friends house and the cat jumped on my lap. it was calm for a minute but then it turned on it's back and bit my hand and sunk it's claws into my arm, all four of them so i grab the thing and pull the thing off my arm, dragging it's claws down my arm. i finally get the crazy thing off and throw it on the ground then it grabs my leg (fortunately i was wearing jeans that day) and the owner, who has just been sitting there in shock watching this happen to this point, grabs the thing and carries it downstairs and throws it outside.  supposedly that cat had never done anything like that before. i had been over there a lot and never had any problems with that cat. but something happened to it and it was never the same. went completely mental. they kept it outside after that. one week they went on vacation for a few days and apparently a stray chow came around and when they got home, the chow had the cat trapped under a car. no telling how long it had been there.  they chased off the chow and the cat ran off and they never saw it again. then that chow came back and hung around for a while and was terrorizing the other animals, including an old horse they had in a pasture. it killed at least one cat that i know of. they called animal control on it and they found it under one of their outbuildings. they figured the only thing they could do is shoot the thing. they shot it with a shot gun and it took one blast and then went running towards the guy who shot it and had to shoot it again.
