Fighting at BOA…. A fan just died at Foxboro

Football is my No.1 sport, hands down, bar none.

You couldn't pay me to go sit in the stands at another football game. Drunk, annoying, belligerent fans, overpriced drinks and a shitty view of the field. I've literally never been to an NFL football game where I didn't see a drunken fist fight. And most of those were in the pre-season.

I'll go to a baseball game, but unless I get an invite to a suite, I feel like I'm missing out on nothing by watching a football game at home on in a bar.

I really enjoy college football in person, and NFL on television, with the game paused, so I don't have to listen to droning announcers, commercials, or terrible re-plays.

Can get through a Panthers game in about an hour that way.

Very true.  However, sometimes alcohol can reveal the true character of a person.

if the person's true character is that of a psychopath, i don't necessarily want that revealed.

showing the world "the real you" isn't necessarily a good thing for anyone.

    • They reached for Pickett, so they are not immune to it.  I could see that as well.  I just think the Colts are flying under the radar and they have been too quiet concerning their QB situation--of course, they could think Jones is their guy (they had a good one named Jones a long time ago) but I think they are done with the Richardson experiment.   Even if I believed in Jones, I would still draft a QB--I also read one mock that said the Jets would take Sanders if he falls to 7---I disagree, but I was once wrong and it still bothers me.
    • I just switched to prime video with fanduel south. Will I be able to watch the Canes playoff games still?
    • I mean, you can use that "logic," but the problem is that most practice squad players, backups or average guys don't put the play on film that Wharton did when given their opportunities.  Perhaps you'll end up right, but I don't think that just because a guy has been in a rotation makes him inherently less productive because he gets more snaps. I will say that the KC fans I've seen on social media loved him, and considered him their second best DT,  regardless of his "rotational" status, and generally considered him a dawg, so I'm going to give him the benefit of doubt until he shows otherwise.
