best burger in charlotte...

I never leave my comfort zone and definitely don't venture into the areas of dense population, so I've not tried this Penguin place y'all are talking about... regardless, teh best burgers in Charlotte are made by me. Ya gotta chop up an onion and green pepper oh so fine and mix that with the ground beef before you pat em out. Gangsta!

man..Penguin is a Top 3 ALL time for me. It is that good.

If it's like the McHales on my side of town in Tega Cay, then they have some good Irish food. Nothing wrong with that. I'll take some good corned beef and cabbage if I can't get a good burger.

McHale's is pretty good. I had to remember where Red's was, not my side of town, last time I was there was in HS. Like I said, don't do much burger eatin' here.

Penguin, and most places that don't grind their own meat, overcook the ground beef imo. Which isn't really an O, it's more like f.

Big Daddy's. Sam I Am burger, fried egg, pesto and cheese. Amazing! I like Penguin but its just another over cooked burger. At least i can get some pink in the middle at Big Daddy's.

Brooks has an awesome burger. I also recommend the Dixie Grille close to the airport
