The ONE true glimmer of hope

These 2 losses are more deflating than Cam's first 2 starts. We were at least competitive during those games. These 2 games despite being close on scoreboard really show that our offense is putrid and hard to watch. I would rather lose a game and put up 20 points, not 9 points per game and all those coming from the kicker.

we put up over 1000 yards of offense in those 2 games. our defense in 2011 before Luke came was terrible

Again, we don't have the offensive weapons to give Bryce any help.

Sanders and Hubbard aren't running the ball well, we are missing two starting guards, our wide receivers are either unproven, hurt, or old.  Hurst is our best receiver at this point....and he's the only REAL TE we have.

Hand over the playbook to Brown and let Bryce start slinging it especially when he reads man to man coverage.  Everyone who says he doesn't have an arm is wrong.  Does he throw ropes like Cam or Stroud?  No, but he can make every throw that is needed in the NFL.  Here's the thing - who does he have to throw it to?

I love Cam, but he also opened against 2 objectively worse defenses with objectively WAY better weapons. He had our 2 best o-linemen ever, our all time goat receiver and our 2 best pass catching TEs ever. PLUS double trouble. It’s not even close to comparable. And even with that there were multiple, MULTIPLE, games his rookie season where he threw for under 200 yds, multiple interceptions, etc.

The one true glimmer of hope right now is that it looks like we might be awful for a few more years.

Which will set up nicely for us to get the #1 overall pick in 2026 and take Arch Manning.

Prevent defense and the game was lost, that alleviated the pressure on Bryce.

Nobody is impressed with garbage time stats. This game wasn’t as close as the score would lead you to believe

The 2 minute drill was the first time he played with any urgency all game.

His dropbacks have been so lackadaisical thus far, he needs to get back to the right depth and play in rhythm. When he did that he was throwing dots.

Into soft underneath coverage because their defense was giving up underneath passes to make sure we didn't get down  field in one play.
