How did this offense look better with Wilks and Darnold?

Honest question. We supposedly upgraded everywhere (except WR), including an all-star coaching staff, and we look slow, undisciplined, confused, almost scared. This is atrocious to watch.

Fans simply didn't like Wilks or Darnold to be honest.

 

I was perfectly fine with bringing both back. You don't know how good you have it until it's gone.

I still believe that Wilks could have been improved upon. I was all over Steichen and we got the Geriatric retread. Figures that Tepper would try to overcorrect after the Rhule situation.

Darnold for all his faults had an NFL caliber arm. When he played controlled football behind a solid run game, he could move the football. It wasn’t a Super Bowl winning formula but it was at least respectable.

Im all in on Evero as DC though. My guy is making lemonade out of lemons over there
