Can someone please ban Kingy? He is always such a whining racist & never stop.

Explain to me what I said that was racist? Saying the Panthers need to give a black QB a chance is racist? Im sorry for offending you. I hope the Panthers never give a young black QB a chance and keep the position whiter than snow. That make you feel better? Is that non-racist enough for you?

Don't any racists who post here get banned?

You dont agree with my opinon so you want me banned? How nazi of you. No one told you to click this thread.

Kingy is like the KKK of black people side. More worse than Al Sharpton. He doesn't even use logic & common sense well either. :rolleyes5:

The KKK of the black people side? WTF. You didnt even address the topic at hand, just came in here to tell the black man to shut up and dont speak out. Ive never gone in a thread that you posted in and told you not to express your opinion. Sounds like you have a problem. You could always put me on ignore, but trying to suppress black people who want to see black QBs given a chance is more your speed.

so basically what your saying is that we should just give a black qb a try just because he is black?? what sense does that make? some franchises for years havent had black qbs does that make the racist or good old boys?

how many black qbs have been drafted period? where are your numbers? where are your cold hard facts? if you are talking about barber shop gossip then you need to keep that crap there.

agian if you really want blacks to get advantages or see them exceed, push them to be business owners. control their own lives, not just blame the WHITE man for holding them back. that crap excuse is for people to lazy to look for their own way. as a black person i want nothing handed to me because i am black. i want to take it as a person.

my problem with micheal vick is that his exciting style of play wont last but so long before he is either hurt or neutralized. his teams led the league in rushing each year but near the bottom in passing. he has had the same level of success as delhomme has had with his team. he can be game planned against quite easily. heck as a panther fan you should know. we finally figured him out the last year or so he played. put your most athletic lb as a spy on him (davis) if he runs keep back side contain, if he is passing blitz him. it worked. he never got to the level that donovan mcnabb is now. a excellent passer with that hint of threat to run. you always have to offset his bad passing skills and say "oh but he can run".

Never once did I say that. Jason Campbell is black and I think he sucks and wouldnt want him in Carolina. What Im saying is the Panthers as well as some other NFL teams ignore black QBs and go out of their way to avoid them. Given our high failure rate at the QB position, this should not be the case. We can watch Jake Delhomme throw away our season at a 10 mill price tag, but drafting and developing a black QB would send the franchise in peril? GTFOH. We've given chances to every kind of bust, never been, and bum you can think of, but apparently there aint no black QBs out there better than David Carr or Stefan Lefors.

Oh so now black QBs dont exist? LOL. Stop making excuses for a team with a shitty track record. Every team in the NFCS has drafted a black QB this decade EXCEPT the Panthers. You've got franchises that have come in the league at the same time or after the Panthers like the Ravens & Jags that have drafted guys and brought in multiple FAs. The team our owner says he wants to emulate the Steelers got 2 black QBs RIGHT NOW and started a young Dennis Dixon WHOM THEY DRAFTED just a few weeks ago. Apparently, JR doesnt want to be EXACTLY like them. Its very telling how people dickride David Garrard & Jason Campbell on this board and proclaim how good they would be 4 us, yet when the Panthers had a chance to draft them they passed EVERY time.

Jason Campbell says...

"The whole black quarterback thing, it's like a fraternity. Guys who played before you pass the torch down to younger guys. You always keep in contact with those guys who came before you. You try to keep in contact with them and learn as much as possible from them"

Acting like the institutional racism of the QB position in the NFL doesnt exist may help you sleep better at night, but I'll take Don McNabb, Warren Moon, & Doug Williams word for it over yours.

What does this have to do with this topic? So Donovan McNabb is a lazy welfare bastard who blames the white man for being a failure because he echoes the same sentiment as me as well as other former black QBs in the NFL? Don probably made more money last year then you have in 10 years and is far more successful. I dont think he'd appreciate it you lecturing him about "pulling himself up by his bootstraps". So I should lobby the NFL to have more black owners, coaches, & GMs who make these decisions? Being there's only been 1 black GM in league history and 0 on the ownership level in a league thats 70% black, I think you make a good point. Be careful, we agree on something, somebody on here might mistake you for a "racist militant".

And since Vick is black there's no possible way he can improve. You might not realize this, but Vick is sitting behind an all pro QB. He's had the benefit and luxury of watching how an all pro QB prepares each week and what it takes to be successful in this league. He's being coached by one of the better offensive minds in the game in Andy Reid. You are making the same flawed mistake that the Vince Young doubters did this offseason, in that a black QB with extraordinary athleticism cant improve or its only "a matter of time" before he's been figured out. By the way, Vick beat us in our home opener in 2006 sending the team in a tailspin it never recovered from missing the playoffs that year. How is that figuring him out? Vick also had 2 games that season in which he threw 4 TDs. Jake Delhomme has had only 1 4 TD game and that was in Dec.2004 5 years ago. Vick is only 29, Jake Delhomme didnt have a pro bowl season until he was 30, Rich Gannon was 34 before he figured it out. Why people act like Vick is done at 29 years young and has nothing left in the tank is wishful thinking on their part.

The REAL issue is why aren't there more black hockey players. That is a whitey organization if I ever saw one.

When there's no defense for the topic at hand, deflect, deflect, deflect. Never has it been so hard for people to stay on the topic at hand, QUARTERBACK. Could it be deep down we know there's an obvious double standard at the most visible position in the sport and it makes us uncomfortable?

i'm a whitey, but i say sign vick if he's available. even if he has lost a little speed possibly. that will only force him to work more on his passing game and help him evolve into a more complete qb. i doubt it will happen, but i say take a chance. for a reasonable price we could have a solid to great qb and the guy just flat out wins football games. he hasn't won a sb yet, but i think he could in the right situation with a solid running game and a good defense.

Rudy Ray Moore begs to differ. :D

This could be said for 99% of the QB's in the league.

ya tht could be it. or maybe.....just maybe....Defensive end and secondary were a little or of a concern going into draft day then a QB they just gave a $25 million raise to. Please give me a list of all the black quarterbacks still available in the 3rd round last year.

Edit: Not named Nate Davis. He's a slightly more athletic The Golden Calf of Bristol. Both suck
