Well, we have played lousy for the most part this year - but last night proved that we are not a lousy team.

The media loves to cultivate teams like the Vikings and everybody's sweetheart Farve, so when they get beat by a team like ours they lash out like a jilted lover.

Kinda like any team who plays against the Yanks and Red Sox. Everyone else is sick of the love affair between the media and these two teams.

Yup, good analogy.

Giants are another good example. The media is so busy humping their leg, they haven't had time to look up and notice that the Giants are not very good.... but they are from NY, so they'll just keep humping their leg.

Eli Manning may be the most overrated QB in the NFL right now. He's looking pretty darn mediocre without that running game...

ummm....we have been a lousy team this year. with fox we've only had three winning records out of 8 years and he's the best coach we've ever had and people are clamoring for him to come back. a winning season is an exception to the norm.

panthers = lousy team until the panthers show otherwise.

We have been a lousy team at times this year. But we rose to the occasion against Favre's Vikings and Warner's Cardinals. We also played pretty well against Bree's Saints.

We've been a lot like that shiftless kid with a knife. He might not be worth a darn, but you don't want to run into him in a dark alley on the night when your number is up.

    • Bryce put it in a spot only his guy could get it only for David Moore to drop it. T_T Tremble and Horn both struggled yesterday and that killed me since they're two of my favourite players. Tommy knows he has to come down with this one. Folks were understandably saying that JT would've caught that had he not gotten hurt a few plays earlier. The more I look at this play, the more I think that Bryce made the right decision throwing it out the back of the endzone. He could have tried to laser it in to Thielen, but that safety is lurking awfully close inside. Insuring the field goal here after a 44sec drive to end the half was the right move.
    • Except Bryce was the main reason we were in it
    • NFL Pro has the All-22 up already 😄 Going to grab a play or two from each redzone series to put screenshots to. Looks like AT angled his route off to the near pylon rather than the back corner where Bryce was throwing to. I imagine this is something they'll quickly try to figure out with Thielen back from IR. After watching the All-22 again, this was actually a pretty nifty play. I thought it was a TE screen to Tremble because of the way XL charged the DB, but he quickly shed and kept upfield as seen in the second screenshot. This looks like it had multiple layers built into it with AT running the crosser, XL the fade, Tremble to the flat. The progression would call for the play to go to Chuba here as the LB does follow Tremble out into the flat. Ball hits Chuba low and in the hands, but the LB does a good job disrupting the catch.
