sorry ass bastards if you ask me.....F and R can suck it the Fire Dept should display it anyway.

Sometimes I think we give too much Freedom to people like that. I mean you cant even put up a Santa in your yard without the fear of being sued by someone. Really thats no Freedom at all if you ask me.

Funny when Christmas was first celebrated in the US Protestant churches wouldn't celebrate it. It took people going to Catholic services for them to accept it. People should learn their history better.

yeah. But what does that have to do with decorations at the fire department.?

So you would have no problem with someone placing a pentagram in front of the firehouse either?

Yes, I would accept it if we(America) celebrated Satan but we dont. The Fire Dept put the scene back up btw....I dont get it Yankees up North love us so much when they visit us and then they want to move here when they do move here they want us to be just like the poo hole they came from.

Glad everyone is ok with government promoting religion as long as its the popular one.

Things don't go so well the other way around, though, do they?

A conservative activist and Illinois comptroller candidate was escorted from the Illinois State Capitol building Wednesday when he tried to remove a sign put up by an atheist group.

William J. Kelly announced Tuesday that he planned to take down the sign put up by the Freedom from Religion Foundation, and on Wednesday, he tried to make good on his plan.

Not so much fuging fun is it when you have other people's religious beliefs shoved down your throat.

Signs in other states have been targets of vandals, Barker said.

In Wisconsin, someone threw acid on it one year, and some people turned it around and hid it in the back rooms of the state Capitol, and in Washington state, someone walked it out of the Capitol and threw it away, Barker said. The Washington state sign was later found in a ditch near a country radio station and returned to the capitol in Olympia
