Top 5 QB performances of the weekend....

Rolling Moore out of the pocket and away from the strength of Minnesota's line was the best gameplanning move Fox & Co have come up with... in years, I think.

Moore extends plays and keeps drives alive. He is reminding me a lot of the "old" Jake - "good" Jake if you will - who was good for at least one major completion to Smitty per game.

Moore threw high couple of times so he's going to have to work on that but otherwise I thought he played extremely well. This was the best QB performance of our season. If you think Jake would have put up these numbers your dead wrong. I think we ran that QB roll out a little too much. If Moore puts up another performance like this than Jake's done for sure as a starter and we will resign Moore.

God I hope so.

Moore was great. The only weakness was 3-4 passes that were just totally innacurate. It is hard to tell if that was by design or not.

The problem with not keeping Moore as a starter here soon, he might join a different team (like the Raiders) to be a starter & not be a backup QB again. Kinda like when Matt Cassell left New England & became a starter with Kansas City. I personally prefer to keep Moore as a starter with how he is likely going to get better.

Casell was traded. If we can get a 2nd or better for Moore I would be all for it. But not with Fox here as he will use that as an excuse to keep Jake another year. Decisons Decisons.

On that note, I saw some wide open receivers when Moore was in a rollout and he was inaccurate as hell. Troy Smith is one of the best QB in the league in the rollout. Anyone see what I do.
