In the locker room interview, the guy asked him about Moore. I don't remember his exact words, but Fox said something like: ...yeah Moore had a good game. I think he's played in three games now, maybe two, I'm not really sure. But he looked good out there.

Not sure how many games Moore has played in this season, coach? Umm.

Carolina has 6 wins....Moore has gotten 2 of those in his 3 starts.....not to hard to remember the best 3 game stretch of the season in terms of results and play.

Were taking one quote into him saying he wants Dlhomme back? Maybe it has to do with the 5 turnovers, or the 31 points, or rushing for alot of yards, beating them away, etc Fox knows the small role Jake had in that game. Your connecting dots that IMO arent there.

so, then you think it made sense for Fox to randomly bring up a game that was a better complete victory? A game where we gave up more yards, more points, and were more one dimensional? I don't think people are connecting dots that don't exist...

he said what he said. more complete game in arizona.

arizona was probably his more ideal game and had his QB in there.

If he wanted to back Jake, why wouldnt mention a game where Jake was good like the Atlanta one? The fact that we were more one sided in the Arizona game shows there would be no point to bring that game up in realtion to backing Jake.

I highly doubt this was the first time in seven years that he refrenced another game in a interview. While I may not agree, I can totally see how he could think the arizona one was more complete.

In arizona we were playing pretty tough and well the enitre game. This Minneota game we only started playing lights out in the 2nd half.

he didn't bring up Atlanta....b/c Atlanta wasn't Jake's best win. Atlanta is pretty average at best this year.

I agree, we played well in AZ and played Carolina football. But it was the best display of a complete football game.....it was the most impressive win with Jake at QB....and Fox wanted to act like what Moore did today wasn't the most impressive thing on the year.

He doesn't say we had a MORE complete game in Arizona. His exact words are, "It was probably one of our more complete games, we had a pretty complete one out in Arizona, seems like 100 years ago, but we did" implying that Fox believes this was the team's first complete game SINCE then (though I'd disagree, I thought we played a pretty complete game against the Falcons at home; then again, they were without Turner for a majority of that game). Funny how one word can change the entire context of the sentence. Blame the article writer for not paying attention.

But Fox, along with everybody knows that Jake wasnt huge in that game. The fact is he didnt come right out, without a question an say it. There was alot a reason to believe Arizona was impressive with or without Jake.. Its not like he had alot to choose from this season. I can't see Fox just planting that in there so he can make a little pitch for Jake.

Said Panther coach John Fox of Moore: "Against a very, very good defense, I thought he did a fine job."

I agree. He didn't even mention Jake Delhomme, yet everybody jumps to the conclusion that he's trying to pump Delhomme up? Whatever.

Here's a crazy idea... maybe he just thought the team played a great game against Arizona. I know, that's insane, right?
