I dont think we are as good as we looked, I know ONE THING- The Vikings defense is A LOT BETTER than they played...

I think this was a game that the vikings had a hard time getting pumped up for, and we got the win because of their lack of focus.

I want to see Moore put 2 or 3 good games together before we crown his ass, and we still need to draft a QB.

Matt Moore should be our starting qb next season no doubt about it.He proved himself last night that he good enough to lead this team into the future.

He should go into the offseason expected to be the starter next year, but a little friendly QB competion never hurt.

I think they actually gameplanned well though to our credit....they rolled Moore away from Allen and made him a non factor. Moore is quick w/ the ball which also limits the pass rush.

Also, I think Williams getting tweaked might of worked to our advantage. Williams is overall a better RB than Stewart.....but I still think there are some scenarios where Stewart can do more damage. When it comes to the run Minny is going to get there......Stewart is harder to bring down and also hits back a lot harder than Williams....I think his brusing style was best against that stout D. Neither was going to run around them.....might as well go through them.

Vikings had more to play for than Carolina so I don't really like that excuse....the Saints losing earlier made it a huge game for them. I do think they might thave thought we were simply a 5-8 team though and weren't prepared to get punched in the mouth. Carolina was 5-8 coming into that game but the team is much better than the record indicates....QB play had just killed them this year.

I think you're seeing something that isn't there. He's in there going nuts and high-fiving people just like Jake did. Their mannerisms actually look BETTER with Moore in there.

What might have been for Panthers

Carolina fans have to wonder how the season would've turned out if the Panthers went with Matt Moore earlier. He continues to perform well as the starting quarterback in the place of Jake Delhomme. Moore completed 21 of 33 passes for 299 yards with three touchdowns. More importantly, he avoided the big turnover and repeatedly found a way to connect with Steve Smith on an assortment of deep throws. Early-season struggles sent the Panthers reeling out of postseason contention, but Moore's steady play has revived the offense and provided some hope. If John Fox and Co. return in 2010, it will be interesting to see if they give Moore the keys to the offense in training camp.
