To all those that kept saying Matt Moore was garbage

To all those that said that Jake gave us our best chance to win.

To all those that said that Moore's arm was extremely weak.

To all those that said that those of us calling for Jake to be benched back in Week 3 were having kneejerk reactions.

And most of all, to John Fox:

Mod note: against the rules.

They turned Moore loose in the second half. He made all the throws! The scoreboard reflected!

SS89, YOUR ARE PERFECTLY CORRECT!!!! IS A DAMN GREAT NIGHT TO BE A PANTHERS FAN!!!!

Word man. Imma sleep easy tonight :D Haven't been this excited since Moore hit Smitty for 66 at the end of the tampa game. I'm looking forward to the game vs New York. Hope D Lo is back and ready to go tho.

Matt Moore's arm strength is still an issue and was still evident today

*goes to start a "to all those that kept saying John Fox has lost this team" thread

His armstrength is honestly fine for the kind of throws necessary. His deep throw to Smith that was a 46 yard completion (and closer to a 60 yard toss) was on the money along the sideline. I really think that a lot of his misses are: 1) inexperience, 2) not stepping into his throws due to #1, 3) not having the chemistry with his recievers yet.

He may not have the armstrength of the top Qbs, but it's good enough for many a deep completion.

BTW, that is not saying we shouldn't bring in competition in the offseason, no matter how he does in the last two games. Just saying, I think there is a bit of an overstatement to his arm strength being an issue, I really think a large part of that is technique.

I think Panthers55 looks very foolish at best. Especially after saying Moore was given the victory against Tampa, yet never would say such a thing about Delhomme and would defend Delhomme when he had a bad game by blaming everyone else (such as the line or play calling, etc) except for Delhomme himself.

I also think those that said Moore was no better than Jake just look plain ol stupid.

While this may have been their finest performance, this was not the only amazing game the defense has played... our D's rankings are far too low for how good they are... and the scary thing is, just think how good it could be if T.D. & our linemen weren't out...

    • BB building a NFL caliber program. We training entirely different. The guys we had this year will be stronger, smarter, faster. The transfers are coming.    Im more worried about the QB position. We have to hit on that guy.
    • https://www.thescore.com/nhl/news/3162765/report-forsberg-vejmelka-vladar-on-hurricanes-radar The Carolina Hurricanes are eyeing a trio of goaltenders to fortify their depth between the pipes. Ottawa's Anton Forsberg, Utah's Karel Vejmelka, and Calgary's Dan Vladar are on Carolina's radar, reports The Athletic's Pierre LeBrun. However, none of those teams are in sell mode yet and might not be at all depending on how their seasons go, LeBrun notes. All three goalies are pending unrestricted free agents. Forsberg has posted an .889 save percentage in 11 games with the Senators this campaign as Linus Ullmark's backup. The 32-year-old journeyman previously spent time in Raleigh during in 2019-20. Vejmelka has emerged as Utah's starter this season, registering a sparkling .915 save percentage in 17 appearances. Vladar has struggled with an .885 save percentage in 16 games while sharing the Flames' crease with Dustin Wolf. The Canes also reportedly spoke to the Anaheim Ducks about John Gibson after missing out on Mackenzie Blackwood, who was dealt to the Colorado Avalanche on Dec. 9. Pyotr Kochetkov has struggled with an .895 save percentage in 18 games as Carolina's No. 1 goalie this season. Veteran netminder Frederik Andersen hasn't played since October and was given an eight-week timeline after undergoing knee surgery in late November.
    • I haven’t seen him play, but if he doesn’t get separation and he’s slow, that doesn’t sound like a top 5 WR
