Allen vs. Peppers

Seems that Peppers is out to prove that he is the best DE on the field tonight. Honestly, Allen can't sniff his jock in this particular game. We have a peicemeal offensive line and Allen hasn't done anything. Peppers is beating double and triple protection constantly, and has been disruptive all night.

Just goes to show when Pep is motivated he is arguably the best in the game.

It just proves that people don't look at reality and rush to judgement based on blind hate. Peppers wasn't good for the past 2-3 games due to his broken hand. It's obvious. Before he broke it, Peppers was playing really well. After he broke it, he didn't play well. Now that it's healed, he's back to playing well again.

Umm....even before the broken hand situation happend, he did play terrible few times early in the season. Remeber when Beason was going to have a talk with him about trying to play better? That was before Pep broke his hand & when he was playing without heart.

That was week 3, in which Pep played awesome week 1 but had 2 bad games. After that Peppers played really well. Which is what I was referring too.

Very true.

At the end of the day, no player can play lights out every game and there are often things going on that fans will never know. People just need to stop jumping to conclusions after 1-2 games. Just watch the season and pull conclusions from that.

Yup, when Peppers is motivated he has no equal.

But it's always guesswork. Maybe the Panthers play a team with a good offensive line and Peppers doesn't do much. On the other hand, maybe they play a team with a decent line and he goes off that night. Or maybe he's injured (as he has been in some of the games this year) and he just looks terrible.

Who really knows if he's giving it his all? No one but him and his teammates.

The fact that he needs to be "motivated" to be the best in the game will mean he will never be the best in the game.

Honestly though if he can keep up a good number of 10+ sack seasons think he could be our first HoF. He's too dynamic for people to not remember.

And while it might not seem like it, those 10+ sacks may actually change the outcome of games, making him valuable, but not $1,000,000 a game valuable.
