I think Campbell, if he hits free agency, will comand a decent pay cheque. He will be head and shoulders above most of the other free agents and getting into a bidding war for him to be a back up is a bit unrealistic considering the dead weight we have with Jake.

Not saying it won't happen, just that at the moment it would appear very unlikely.

Unless MAtt Moore puts up Peyton numbers in the last 3 games, we need a QB...Since our pick is in the 2nd, all the QBs will be projects, and this team is to good to have to wait 2,3 years..Jason Campbell isn't the problem in Washington. He is a very good QB. Reminds me of Kerry Collins in the early 00's. maybe draft some WR's in the 2nd and 3rd, and plug up those gapping holes we have on our Defense..and I'll have no problem with FOx staying here..Jake on the other hand needs to go. Take the cap hit, I don't care, he can't stay..

Lol but seriously Campbell maybe in interesting prospect but Moore should be the guy and he deserves his shot. I honestly think it would be a slap in the face to sign Campbell, especially since Matty is already putting up with Jake and the ass kissery that follows him.

Why do these kinds of threads pop up every month or so? What is this infatuation with a QB who has so far proven to be a big disappointment? Campbell may make a decent backup, MAYBE, but as a starter he didn't get the job done. Certainly, the problems that the 'Skins had to contend with were not (all) his fault. But he definitely contributed to them! It's the same mentality that we'll see concerning Mike Vick. Some would have you think he's a savior of some sort, but his track record doesn't lend any credibility to that. Vick is an exciting guy to watch sometimes, with a tremendous, but spotty, arm. Let these guys go somewhere that needs a QB. We don't at this time, Moore has earned the starting job going into this upcoming season.

I'll take Matt Moore ANYTIME if I'm ANY TEAM in this league. Moore put up some decent point totals against some good teams playing for playoff spots and/or advantage when given the opportunity.

Jason Campbell is damaged goods. It's fair to ask what his mental state is after the battering he took with the 'Skins, just like it's fair and necessary to ask that of Jake given his ups and downs!? But we don't need him, and shouldn't want him either.

I say we take an all-or-nothing shot with Matt Moore. If he starts putting up Shaky Jake numbers, leave him in there. Let him finish the season whether he plays well or not. If he does play horribly, we can say goodbye to him and good old John Fox at the end of the season. If he plays well and gets us into the playoffs, or maybe even the Super Bowl, then we found ourselves a QB.

Yeah, but why would you want to do that, when there are other QBs on the market just in case Moore isn't that good?..maybe not JC, maybe a Kerry Collins. Anybody that can play QB. We have a team that doesn't need Peyton Manning. Why would you waste an entire season letting Moore look like an ass?..Are you John fox?
