We could use a returner for sure

We could use a legit receiving RB.  Because that’s what is going to be called for a lot this season.  Which is something they should have addressed earlier…..instead of after the season started.  Because that simply was a hole on the roster. Just because Chubba and Sanders logged receptions or a play worked doesn’t make them good receiving RBs to date

and that’s Cohen’s speciality.  But it’s a bit of desperate play by Carolina given his recent history.

Well if he gets elevated quickly to the game day roster, then it’s fair to say the miles sanders third down back experiment won’t last long

It never started.  Hubbard and Shenault primarily occupied the job Sunday.  And Shenault is a pure gadget guy so it probably limits the audibles/protections you might need to get into with him in the backfield.

how much of this signing and bringing Deion Jones back after week one is because of the Vested Veteran Clause?

"When a team signs a "vested" veteran after Week 1, the organization can sign that player for the league minimum with little risk. If the player is only good enough to last a few weeks or is just signed to fill-in for an injury, the team can drop them and their salary."
