I'm not questioning, it, just hadn't ever heard that one, which is just a bit surprising since LT is much tougher to learn/adjust to than RT, wonder why LG would be easier than RG.

LT / RT isn't really that much distinguished these days. Both requires premium athleticism in this day and age. Just look at Taylor Moton or Lane Johnson (top 6th in OL contract).

I think all this will get sorted in training if Zavala will be playing LG or RG. But my bet is that it will be easier to move Zavala to his most experience position (next to his college mate Icky) at LG and keept Corbett at his NFl position since 2018.

For now, this is the smart play.

Regimes in the past, particularly Ron Rivera’s staff, had no regard for OL continuity to the point players would flip flop position every freaking week.
