Bryce Young needs to ride the bench this season. Let him learn behind Dalton before it's too late.

I don’t understand why Reich and crew thought is was a good idea to play this schedule in the preseason.. Knowing they had new coaching a new system to learn and a completely new offense with a rookie QB..

He needed to evaluate other players to find out just how bad our depth really is. We all found that out. It's why he said he didn't know what type of team he was going to have until the played game 1. Now he knows what he's dealing with and he has his work cut out for him.

I think he just got conformation on why this was a perennial 5 to 6 win team and why its going to take more than Bryce to fix it.

I still don’t understand.. Looking at depth and not looking at your staters more.. The players you planned on playing the most needed reps.. I’m not saying play them the full game but get more then 2 qrt of reps in the offseason.. Ppl have been getting a look at depth while getting reps for their starters for years..

Instant gratification will not apply with this team, or with Bryce.

He'll have some good games and he'll have some bad ones like Sunday. The team will lose because of him and they'll win because of him. Hopefully the wins begin to outnumber the losses sooner rather than later, but he'll need to develop experience before that happens. He was Bated (pun intended) by a vet yesterday due to lack of experience.

Other than those few plays, he looked good enough to start. No QB makes every read and every throw. And he has plenty of arm strength to be effective. Take your lumps early and reap the benefits later.

Oh and develop these young WRs. They are not helping the cause.

I think he thought his starters would play better.  Or at least he thought he had more "starter" level players than what we actually have. I mean I knew some of them would not start on another team but I'm not an optimist like Frank.

Scott gets the players and Frank decides who plays. They both have work to do and not a lot of room for error.
