i dont think there is a single person in their right mind that will sit there and at tell you that sanders or hubbard are better than Chubb. However, you can't just remove stats to make a point. That is not real life.

Eh, I’d mark it turnovers and poor play calling. I thought Reich was suppose to be a good play caller, he never went back to what was working in the first half in the second.

You win dude, go buy a latte in celebration.  I was comparing RBs and removing Waston's stats to prove a point among RBs. Not a single person in their right mind--as you say-- would suggest QBs rushing stats are somehow trivial or don't count, but when comparing position groups I'm pretty sure QBs and RBs are different.

i didnt even think this was a debate... I believe the origination of our conversation was me just sharing that the browns went in with a run heavy attack and it worked against the bengals. I was just a passenger of the direction that this conversation went.

I had no idea this was even an argument or debate.

I had no idea this was even an argument or debate. 

It's all good, but I don't do the continuous back and forth posts anymore like I would have in the past.  I think we understand where each other was coming from now, so it's moot to further it.

Yeah, I was NOT impressed by the Falcons.  Yesterday was a classic example of a team beating itself.  We don't turn the ball over like that, the Falcons probably only put up 7-10 points.

I would not be surprised to see us bring in (or up) someone.  If you need proof of his heart, watch him when he has a chance to make a tackle--especially in a crowd. Nobody is that un-athletic.

• We were more efficient on third down (5-14 : 2-10)
• We had more total yards (281 : 221) (Including both more rushing and passing yards
• We owned Time of Possession (35 minutes to 25)

The only places we got outdone are penalties ( 9-66 : 6-43), average gain of offensive play (3.9 : 4.6), Red Zone Effiency, and turnovers. 

Was this a sloppy game? Yes, absolutely, but there's still so much positive to build on. Literally every #1 pick had a lackluster debut, and Bryce is no exception to that. Look at Peyton Manning and Joe Burrow especially. Don't judge our rookie by the second or third game either. This entire season is about him absorbing knowledge. We have 5 years to make this work (It's really rare for a QB and Coach to win their first SB after five years if they haven't won one already). 

Does it suck to not have a first round pick? Yes, it does. But we'll still have a top 40 pick even if we're garbage. We also have free agency and trades. Scott fixed the O-Line in two years. I can give him another year to turn the team around. 

TLDR, don't overreact like the other people who have similar views posted, give this process time. If we win, we win the division and we laugh at the bears, but Bryce learning is the most important thing.

Love this.. Exactly what I saw.. TO cost us and bad chemistry went against us.. Add in the ball bouncing ATlanta way and some horrible calls and it is what it is..

You can see why we signed Wormley, the defensive front is THIN...basically 4 guys held down the D-line all game (Ray got one play).  For those big boys, they had to be gassed.  Kudos to Brown for playing all but TWO defensive snaps at 320 in the game.  You know his butt is tired today.
