We got lucky having Cam,Luke,TD and Olsen all at the same time.  Now it just feels like some guys

Because that's all we usually have. Maybe two or three good players filled in with a bunch of JAG's. Can't win shat with that.

I haven’t spent a dime on Panthers in few years now and won’t spend a dime on NFL until Panthers start winning.  Back when Cam was our QB, I’d go to nearly every game, tailgate and would have an over $100 food/drink bill at the stadium.  Since Tepper took over the team, my Sundays opened up a lot.

I’m pretty close to the point where if not for betting and fantasy football, I could quit watching football all together. Watching the Panthers for the last 5 years has been miserable. It is no fun at all watching the games. I am as emotionally detached from the team as I have ever been.

And they are actively trying to kill college football. Being a South Carolina fan doesn’t help.

Super Bowl 50 took a lot of wind out of my sails. The floundering since then, as well as getting older just makes me want to do other stuff on Sundays

I'm glad you said the last line bc that's what I came in here to say. The losing definitely plays a large role, but also as I personally got older I just realized how much time I dedicate to a sport that I'm not being paid for. Instead I could be using my time getting things done, doing something else cool, or being with loved ones.

I'm on my couch tuned in 90% of the time, but the 10% of the time I have to be pulled away I'm not as upset as when I was an obsessed pre-teen lol

Anyone who voted must be passionate or else you would not even bother taking the time to vote. Just saying.

as you used to be are the keywords. Obviously, the people still posting here cares (there's been a LOT of posters that dipped and never returned in the past few years) but its just lukewarm outside of a few die hards.

sad times

Nothing for me has really changed other than no longer being a season ticket holder, and that happened due to life more than anything else (got married + had a child, couldn't justify the expense). I'm still eagerly awaiting the All-22 footage, still armchair scouting, etc.

If anything, unstable fans make the experience less fun for me. Filling my ignore/block list has led to a much more enjoyable Huddle experience. 😄

Being in Raleigh and the Canes being very good the past 5 years has definitely swayed my passion.  Tickets are cheaper and no 3 hour drive to watch the team most likely lose.

I've enjoyed watching the panthers since 2003, but the last 2 years, I've tuned into the games at the start of the season with much less passion.  Cam was that guy that even if we were 5-8, I still tuned in to watch and see what he may do, he was that exciting to watch imo.

Now, just seems like we are going to be a bottom feeder team for at least the next 2-3 years at least...making it 8 years of not even mediocrity, just poor football play.

No, but it's not about yesterday's game. I have been lukewarm about the team for almost a decade now.  Yesterday did not change anything.  I went into the game expecting we would lose.

Bingo.  I have been calling our team the Browns of the south east for at least 6 years now.  Now, it’s disrespectful to Browns so I might have to just call Panthers… Panthers.  That’s where we are as a fan base.

Nope.  I don't even have enough hope in them to feel despair.  I just kinda wish for the best, but I haven't set aside time on Sundays for football for a few years now.

Unfortunately I'm kind of forced to go to all the home games this year because the company I work for invested heavily in season tickets, field passes, etc... and my main job these days is entertaining customers...

You know the team sucks when you're not even excited about all you can eat crab legs.

In the past 20 years, we've had 5 winning seasons.

The answer is no, not nearly as passionate.  I've never let games bother me, except for the SB losses and Jakes implosion in 08 in the NFCC game.

The NFL has gotten worse, the Panthers are trying to beat them to the bottom.

Jerry was bad, Tepper has been flat out awful.  I refuse to spend a single penny on this team.  I did watch every offensive snap yesterday, and most of the defensive ones, fast forward through the rest.  Can get through a Panthers game in about 30 minutes that way so I don't waste my Sundays watching a crap product.
