I can already tell BY processes the game better than Cam did.  And Cam is the best QB by a million miles to ever play here.  Bryce will be fine, but not without better playcalling and weapons.

One game today.  Important weeks ahead to see how they respond.  I say important because they need to prove they can create an adequate passing game.  

You can't look away--today, was not a good look to show out of the gate.  Especially considering how one-dimensional of a team we played, the OL played well, running game was fine (minus one fumble), and the defense came to play. 

Overall, disappointed to see this out of the passing game.  I thought we'd have significant improvement from what we've grown used to.  Not a good start, can't lie.  Mix of play design, poor route running, and Bryce's accuracy really did us in.  Didn't think I'd say the latter.  

I'd like to see more of the influence Brown is bringing through the McVay/Shan/McD offenses.  Where are the sweeps, slants, shallow crosses? These sideline floaters on triangle sets/curl routes are infuriating.  Saw that in preseason but didn't think we'd see THAT much in the regular.

Fun fact for all of you throwing a tantrum over game 1 of a 17 game NFL season, the #1 overall pick hasn't won an opening day game since 2002. Relax.

We gave up 3 turnovers in our own territory on the road. Doesn't matter who the coach or QB is you don't win in the NFL doing that.

Teddy was a coward of a QB. I don’t see that in Bryce yet. But we’ll see. We moved the ball decently. We just should taken the 3 points and not put that kind of pressure on Bryce.

Bryce is going to have to succeed in spite of his JAG/USFL wide receivers, his overpaid RB, his sure-handed TE with the speed of a LG, and his coach's love of failed fourth-down attempts

He'll have to get better too, but unlike a lot of the guys out there today, i think he will. But this world is reactionary and we hate everyone who isn't great from Day 1. I expected more, too, but I don't expect anything when I see that ball go out of bounds and there's 2 WRs nearby with 2 DBs draped over them.
