firing fox would be a hugh mistake?

never heard that one before.

sooooo....what you are saying is that we should follow more the route that the titans have taken. keep a coach for 16 years, draft a couple 1st round QBs, and have one superbowl appearance, no rings, and 6 winning seasons to show for it.

i may not have the experience of running a professional football team that you obviously have (i'm guessing that since you know how to that you probably have), i have experience and a lot of education regarding running a business. i know that you give a manager a job to do and let him have a certain amount of time and freedom to do his job in whatever way he feels will work. i know that if he hasn't gotten the job done in a certain amount of time, i'm not going to be happy with his inability to get it done. if he can't get the job done, i'm going to find someone who can. i'm going to find someone who can manage their resources better.

he's had time and he's had the ability to build the team the way he feels it should be built. he's had the ability to bring in coaches that he wants to work with. he's had his QB.....he's had what he felt he needs to do the job and he hasn't even been able to put together two winning seasons in a row. in fact he's failed to have a winning season in 5 of the 8 years he has been here. he is about as much of a money pit as jake is.

blame it on the QB but that is his QB that he brought in and stuck with for 8 years. blame it on injuries but every team has to deal with them. it isn't an excuse that will fly for long. blame for failing to make this team a consistent winner falls on foxes shoulders.

8 years is enough to see what he is capable of doing here.

You say you're going to find a manager and you're going to find a coach. Heck, if it's that easy then I think we could just find about anyone to coach this team. I just don't want to get rid of the coach and end up like half the teams in the NFL . I think we can all agree that Jake blew up in tha playoffs last year and has never recovered. No body new that Jake could come back and be this bad this season. If we had Bress ,Brady or Manning as our QB this season and Fox as the coach , what do you think our record would be right now ? A good QB can make a coach look great and a QB having a bad season can make one look terible.

List reasons Hurney is a good GM worth keeping around.

I've already discussed this and I'm not here to argue. We both have our own opinions. The thing that bugs me with a lot of the posters here on the board is that they feel that there opinion MUST BE RIGHT and that no one else should have an opinion.
