Something tells me no…Burns’ agent is probably telling him to not even be in the building but Burns can’t bring himself to do that.

PJ Washington just signed for 16+ mil a year and he sucks. Just ink Burns and move on. We've sucked since Tepper bought team and probably will for a while

You can’t compare the 2 leagues that way but Burns is a better player in the NFL compared to Washington in the NBA.

Bosa is a top guy and got 34 a year. Micah Parson will probably command 40 something in a few years…but just because the player isn’t “the top guy” doesn’t mean he deserves Pennies on the dollar.

Realistically, he's worth 22-25M AAV, and even that may be an "over payment" looking at what he's done on the field vs guys who signed for that recently. No way would I go 30M, but I think the sweet spot to get it done is in the 26-28 range.

He's not worth even close to what Bosa is, but ultimately if we make the deal now, in a season or two some other dumbass team is going to overpay an edge rusher and Burns will look like a steal.
