From a cap perspective, agree on Thomas, but not Corbett. Corbett would have a $11.6 mil dead cap figure if we cut him after this season. We backloaded his contract plus added void years. He’s likely with us for this season and next.

I think even if we don't win the division, or even make the playoffs, 2024 will be a very big year for us.  As long as Bryce develops like we are all expecting him to, I think like you said, the sky is the limit.  Next off season we need to concentrate on surrounding Bryce with as many dynamic playmakers as possible.

they must have restructured it, last i seen it was a two year contact (given the out) sign as three. like most NFL contacts. they must view him as a long term now, rather than 2 years.

IF Zavala earns a starting spot, then the draft was a tremendous success, with three starters being added to the offense.   Defensively, we were not helped by this draft for the immediate future, but we did bring in a lot of free agent upgrades

Here is the real question.... Scheme wise are they really worse?  Outside of Phili, depth is a general issue across the NFL in the trenches.  If we are truly relying on our #4-5 DE's to win games rather than provide flashes and depth we are better off not being successful.  Having to pay Burns, Chinn, Brown, and Horn sooner rather than later requires us to do our best to develop young talent rather than rely on washed up vets
