I have no idea what his actual height is. Just a half joke based on what seems to be a fairly common 1-2inch drop from college height on these shorter guys. Point is, Williams and Maye will start getting picked apart like everybody else when that time rolls around.

Purdy is the luckiest QB in the league. All those weapons around him it's hard for him to screw that up. He's not this elite QB prospect he just gets the ball to his weapons and keep the chains moving. Will be interesting to see how he develops now that he is their guy.

Maybe.  Richardson got Marty to do a lot.  Especially before and after the lockout talk window.   Ron and Fox got Marty to do a lot too.  But the masses don’t come running to defend Marty on all that stuff.

No doubt, if it goes downhill he will be asked to fall on the sword.  That's the life of a GM in the NFL.

Yeah Caleb is 6'1" and I believe Stroud is 6'3" or 6'2" and some change.  6'1" is tall enough for today's NFL, especially when a player has field vision like he does.

anyone who was a UNC fan would tell you that mitch was going to flame out. Yeah, that’s largely why I like my HC and GM to be paired up.  It’s prevents the scapegoating and deflecting game.

Hell, some of the same people claiming the price might be too high were ready to give up more than that for Deshaun Watson

I wasn't a big fan of trading all the way up to #1 myself...until I saw what we actually ended up paying. It was nowhere near as bad as I might have expected.

And yeah, if Young works out it's pretty much worth it.
