Im guessing you just never watched Caleb play football.

Maye struggled late in the season vs weak ACC defenses. Im a UNC fan btw. I know Maye is talented in most drafts he would be the #1 QB. Caleb is just a different beast at QB. He's making Mahomes like throws on the college level. His ability to throw on the run and be accurate is what sets him apart from Maye.

I've seen him.

Maye's size and ability to make all the throws without needing to play hero scramble ball sets him apart from Williams. We shall see. They're both potential franchise QBs. I'd put my money on Maye having the better NFL career.

Sam has proved nothing. You UNC diehards are gonna learn the world doesn’t revolve around Chapel Hill.

He has proven to be a better draft pick than Corral and should have been the selection. We’d still have are potentially top 10 pick next year.

Fitt traded up in the 3rd for a QB….who he couldn’t even get a 7th for a year later.

the real story here is probably about our GM

Agree - he's not totally absolved of the Rhule era, but if he can hit on the 2023 picks and those guys are still on the roster in a year then he would have at least learned from his mistakes.

The Tepper era has been a joke so far. How many wasted draft picks , cap space , poor decisions are we supposed to survive through. The team just delays its own rebuild over and over. They should’ve done a fire sale when Rhule was brought on and they should’ve done a fire sale when he was fired. Accumulate draft picks , build cap space and take BPA where they were slotted.

Yes we have Bryce, who is going to be nice if he stays healthy , but this team doesn’t have any game changers outside of Burns and it’s a problem

It’s going to take us a few years before we can think about being contenders.

If Bryce is what we think he is, it will be easier to attract guys. We’ve been the island of abandoned toys the past few years.

Maye and Williams are both phenomenal pro prospects. Both could sit out this season and still prob go 1-2.

I like them both. That being said, much like how I stopped caring about college QB prospects after we drafted Cam, I hope Bryce can put me in that place again.

That is all we need to know.

Tepper has changed the entire mentality of the Panthers fanbase.

Keep Pounding is no longer a thing.

Fans are quiting on the team before the season even starts. Look at how many people are flat out saying we are not making the playoffs. In a weak division you got people saying playoffs are simply not realistic.

Cmon Tepper has changed most of us. Only the mentally strong are still standing. The few of us can see through the bull$hit. Tepper is the problem always has been.

That's good to know. But Caleb will be the #1 pick. That is pretty much a lock barring some type of injury.

I just hope Maye can lead us to the ACC championship this year. Clemson is no longer a powerhouse. The ACC is up for grabs. If Maye is the real deal he should win the ACC.

I'm with you. I love Bryce and think we have our guy. I just don't want Maye in the NFCS.

I think you should wait to see how these college qbs fair this season before you try to predict where they will go.  And for the record, just say no to USC qbs. There's something in the water there that makes them worthless in the nfl.

    • We could easily pick apart yesterday’s game: dropped passes, blown coverages, bad tackling and red zone issues to name a few. But it was clear that this wasn’t the same team from earlier in the season. They fought back and hung with the champs until the end. That’s what I was excited to see and it gives me hope that we’re on the right track.
    • I think BY played well today and exceeded expectations. I will temper future expectations as he has to string together many games of consistent quality. One game doesn’t convince me that he is a franchise QB or even a guy you want to stick with for another season. One game doesn’t erase all the negative play and limitations from the past couple of years. I hope he balls out and continues to get better but for me the verdict is still out   That said, I think he gave the team and fans hope yesterday which is a lot more than what we had when we woke up Sunday morning.
    • He was vastly improved today and we need to see more of Bryce the rest of the season to continue evaluate him in order to decide what the heck to do with him at the end of the season. He must play at least like this and improve more from here the rest of the season in order for me to keep him. No more 123 yard passing games and want to see at least this output weekly from him. If this is Bruce improving slowly over time then Canales is even better with developing QB's than I thought he was but still too early to tell and we need to see him the rest of the way as he has at very least earned back the starting gig moving forward.
