No backup is consistent enough to carry a team. If they were they wouldn't be backups.  Corral is like most rookies that are not being developed to be the number 1 qb. Who knows if he could become more consistent if given time to develop?  It's looking kinda scary if we need a backup qb for more than a series or two.

There’s no concept of patience or development here.

Some dude even insinuated you can’t develop at all as a backup, like practice doesn’t exist or something. Guess they think if you aren’t playing on Sunday, you are banished from the stadium, and your playbook is burned.

Even if we keep 3 qbs, which it doesnt sound like we are, then his reps in practice would be minuscule as a 3rd string nfl qb.  Probably not doing him any favors.

Ive said it 100x now but rhule really fuged this kid.  He should have been made #2 the day after the draft and then see what we have.  Hes been behind the 8 ball since the jump.

That def plays a part. Big time miss from the Panthers. Good teams realize mistakes and learn from it.

With how bad QB has been…I still wanted Howell after we drafted Corral lol.

But we have Young so hopefully we won’t have to care about QB for a long time. That would be nice. We shall see.

Instead, The Process classified him as a red-shirt freshman.  Just another example of him not having any clue about what he was doing.

As he should be. I keep thinking the Cardinals could be a trade partner for him, but they are so clearly tanking with that QB room.

Crazy that the season has not started and they are already tanking.  I would hate to be a player on that team.
