The worst part of hurricanes are those scary wind sounds. You never know if a tornado is nearby or not. Wicked feeling!

Hugo but my grandparents swore Hazel was much worse.

My parents had a place at the beach and literally had almost no damage.  Near their place there was a house that was blown completely over the inlet and sitting near their place.  Wild

It supposed to turn and miss US apparently

Somehow most news stations fail to mention anything but the 5 day forcast which shows it headed right at the US.  Shocking that they might put the worst face on something just to sell some viewers huh?

But in Ventusky I trust.  I think you sent me a link to it last year LD.

The GFS has it shooting the gap between Bermuda and the mainland US, which is the best scenario imo.  A couple of the models have it getting scarily close to the east coast before it whips out to sea.  I hope it doesn't threaten land until sufficiently weak, because that storm could be a real monster.  A landfalling category 4 in the Carolinas would be catastrophic.

Lee also became one of the fastest-intensifying Atlantic hurricanes on record, its peak winds increasing from 80 to 165 mph in a day. This rate of strengthening was the most extreme on record for any Atlantic storm east of the Caribbean, according to Kieran Bhatia, a meteorologist for the reinsurance brokerage Guy Carpenter. Only a few storms in the Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico have intensified more quickly.

    • Joe Person co-wrote an article with another writer for The Athletic on whether or not teams use media mock drafts. Link to article
    • Lower floors than AR coming out, or lower floors than AR now?  Are you counting that he has proven to be a productive goal line back?  AR as a prospect had just about the lowest floor you can possibly have.  Probably the same as Milroe.  Dart's floor looks a lot closer to backup QB to me, but the issue is that his ceiling doesn't look too far from that either. It's crazy that teams are drafting scratch off lottery tickets at QB with 1st round picks.
