From the extremely soft coverage I saw from the defense at the start of the game yesterday, I will chalk it up to preseason.  That wasn't about skill, that was just letting them go down the field.  If I see any semblance of that when the season comes, then this team has no hope.

That said, I love what I'm seeing in Bryce.  Even in this lackadaisical playing effort, he is poised.  He's confident.  That is a great sign.  So we'll see if this team is just going through the motions, or if we are just that amazingly bad.

These motherfuggers get paid to play a game that children play on TV and they somehow get a pass year of after fugging year for playing shitty / coaching shitty.

These motherfuggers eat, sleep, and breathe this game, they practice all year, their whole lives, and they just still cannot get it right.

We as fans wait months to see the team we root for take the field and show some heart, make plays, win games.

We as fans work all day, some of us in grueling jobs, long hours, travel, etc - and we sit down to watch some football to relax and enjoy downtime.

We as fans buy merch, buy tickets, show up to events, encourage these guys.

and this is what we get? Every single fugging year? No matter the coach? No matter the GM? No matter the players? Just complete dogshit every single season? Year after fugging year?

This is equivalent to being a diehard fan of a band, buying their merch, buying their concert tickets, etc and then having them drop an album that sounds like someone jack hammering a cat. Or going to their concert only to watch them trying to play their instruments with a fugging dildo. 

It is absolute insanity. It is an absolute joke bro. Like what in gods green earth are you guys doing at practice? What are you doing in meetings? What tape are you watching?

How do we string together a group of the worst coaches and worst players, year after year? How does that even happen with out trying?

Why is our social media team posting a picture of the definition of preseason after a game? Do you know how embarrassing that is? Do you know how cringe and stupid all of their content is? Get off the fugging phones and stop trying to be hip. Stop trying to save face because you have a shitty ass product and you think being funny or "cool" on social media will mask that.

All this rah rah crap, all these interviews, skits, "this or that", stupid ass social media trends, cut that shid out and start fugging focusing on not being complete horseshit on the field.

Players laughing and shid on the sidelines, "oh har har har I still get my game check and then get to go home and play as myself in madden then wake up and dick around at practice tomorrow har har har". Motherfuggers never worked a god damn day in their lives, they don't know shid about adversity, they don't know shid about hard work, discipline, effort, heart. These motherfuggers just out here running around playing a game half ass and collecting money. These coaches are all just failed players that can't give up the glory of being on the field and are out there trying to act like they fugging know anything.

If you watch a Pat Surtain highlight reel from last year he isn’t up playing press coverage much.  DBs are going to be playing off a lot in his scheme.   Which is always going to be called soft when you get beat.  I mean they were 10 yards off in Denver last year a lot. 

but you he had pressure in Denver.  So I suspect we won’t know what our pressure really looks like until week 1. Neither will the staff.  If Burns and company can’t get it he has proven not be afraid to dial up the blitz.  Can’t think of his name but they traded one of the best pass rushers in season last and he countered by just blitzing more

Yeah from what I've read about Evero's scheme it's a lot of Cover 3 with split safeties and late rotation. As far as pressure, I'm super curious to see how they handle that in the regular season because as you alluded to; with the Broncos last year when they traded Chubb to Miami they blitzed a lot. I believe Evero led the league in sim-pressures as well. 

I believe he has more toys here in the EDGE department to play with so Im super curious to see how he deploys everybody week 1 and beyond. I don't know if I expect a lot of blitzes as much as I expect those sim-pressures to continue with him probably consistently rushing 4-5 guys but it not being the same guys every time. 

Coverage wise, the only thing I really want to see is for them to allow Horn to shadow the best receiver on the other team and to play their match up's better. I'm over seeing DJax on 6'3 guys who can bully him lol

You have a point. But I was only considering the preseason.  The scoreboard resets when the season starts though. We need a leader board to keep track throughout the season. We could have a pretty good drinking game going on by game 3.

this team will never win the SB.  Tepper is not half the owner JR Was.  This franchise may sniff the playoffs every 4 or 5 years and that’s about as good as it will get.  Once you accept that you’ll feel so much better. 

Isn't that the status quo of what JR handed off? Im very confused why folks adore an owner who owned us for like 20 years and never produced back to back winning seasons.

TLDR. I did read it though. Fact is 

This was not the starters. Some these guys have already lost they spots. Other guys have shown something and are moving into those spots. Coaching staff is evaluating to make cuts and are holding back on the playcalling. It's basically scrimmage or practice. The poster seems to have a lot of conviction we trash, DONT WATCH. 

Jump off the train. We don't want you. I'm gonna pull for these guys that work hard and make the squad.  I dare ya to tell Dion, Blackshear, Shi, Barno, Raequan Williams, Jammie, and Sam"MFing" Franklin Jr they just running around out there not earning they paycheck.  Me myself I got excited to see DJ Johnson showing up on plays.  Same with Shi and Blackshear playing hard when the game was not going our way.  All Barno does is run at the QB at 4.3 speed that will work out eventually. 

WE will be fine.  GO be a packer or COLTS fan.  Jump on a bandwagon and fug off.
