Had Carr not signed in NO, I think this team had as good of a shot as any of the other 3 to make the playoffs....and immediately get embarrassed.

 

Now, I think NO walks away with it if they can stay relatively healthy.

I’m telling you what reasonable expectations are. Yours are clearly not based in reality and will only lead to constant whining posts from you and people like you because your expectations are unrealistic.

I’m telling you because I’d rather not have to deal with idiots spam post whining/crybaby posts for what is essentially a predictable outcome. Want to whine like a child at someone that cares contact the panthers directly.

Yeah, there's clearly a lack of urgency on the sideline.  They're confident that they'll right the ship by week 1.  Hope they're right.  So far it hasn't been much fun to watch.

Why hire Wilks and make the playoffs this year, when we can hire Reich and possibly make the playoffs three years from now after we trade all of our assets?

That’s just being an objective NFL fan.  Anything can happen.  But that’s the objective take of the state of things in 2023.  And it’s why Vegas backs it. 

and all that is okay.  There is fun in that.  This season is not about making the playoffs.  It’s not a realistic expectation. 

It’s a race to 9 wins. Remember this post at the end of the season.

You brought in this highly touted “all star” staff..

You went up and got the top QB in the draft.  And not only the top QB, but the most NFL ready one according to everyone.

 

To not expect to win this division and make the playoffs.

Expecting to make the playoffs was gravy for this year as bad as the NFC South is going to be. By years end we might be a decent team, and 'might' is a big word. Chicago will get their 1st round top 10 pick and who will we trade to get a mid or low end 1st round pick.
