In celebration of the anniversary of the art form I thought we could post up some of our all time favorites

I remember like it was yesterday the afternoon in '91 a buddy introduced me to Ice-T.  Yeah I knew some Run-DMC and of course I had heard Rappers Delight, The Message and the few groups/singles that managed to break in to my very white, very heavy metal & southern rock world.

But nothing prepared me for what the next few years held. 

Far too many acts to name but I really felt like I fell in love with the genre during its golden years.
