Nobody was talking about the Jets last season. Now they the biggest story in sports. All I see in Rodgers is a talented QB who has underachieved in the playoffs. If you look behind the hype he hasn't been to a SB in over a decade!

He's better than Brady. Comparing players using team statistics in a game with 22 starters and even more contributors is a fool's errand. 1 truly objective stat for their playoffs is Rodgers career passer rating 100.1, Brady 89.8, Rodgers' rating is significantly better.

One of the reasons Brady had more success in the playoffs is he cared more about winning then money unlike Rodgers. Brady took team friendly deals to help build the rest of the team where as Rodgers just wanted as much money as he could get then would complain about how poor the rest of the team was.

Brady was compiling stats in playoff games in January 2002.  It wasn't exactly the leather helmet days but Rodgers' prime was in the era following Irsay bitching to the competition committee after Manning and his WRs got shoved around by the Patriots in the playoffs a few years in a row.

I knew there was some fuging crazy stat about Rodgers in the 4th quarter, but I couldn't remember exactly what it was so I looked it up.  He's 3-45 when trailing by double digits in the 4th.  Unless his WRs were like me and Alejandro Lastra that's anomalously terrible for a HOF QB.

Someone posted a rumor about Rodgers being interested in us but the feeling wasn't mutual from our side.

 

I still think he would have made us the favorites with our roster. We probably add Hopkins in that scenario and still have DJ Moore. It would have been a win now situation like Brady in Tampa.

 

Im happy we went with Young though. I think the kid will be elite if he can stay healthy.
