I think he was even pulled from starting rg at joint practice, after getting the reps all training camp. I thought he was a play anywhere on the line guy, guard should mentally be the easiest spot and he kept getting penalties

I really hope Zavala can play this week and get some snaps....hate to see a rookie forced to start on OL but we need him....might help having his old teammate beside him again.

Here will be something interesting...if BC is at right guard and Zavala LG then it will be a sign that they are working the problem which will be a sign of decent coaching, heck even starting someone else of RG will be a sign.

If someone had balled out, the job would have already been taken. What is up to now, 5 man competition for one guard spot?

It’s not great but it’s not a bad thing they recognize the issue. Remember when we shoe horned Bell and Chandler into their spots.

Nash Jensen got talked up at camp but theres. been no visual proof. Hopefully they both play Friday. No reason to see Jordan or Erving again unless no one else is healthy
