Carolina Panthers Pro Bowlers?

if williams didn't get in last year with 1515 yards and 18 tds, how will he get in this year?

b/c most didn't think much of him until his late run.....but last season will ulitimately help him this year.

He didn't get in because of Redskins management encouraged everyone to spam vote all of their players, regardless of skill into the pro bowl. Which is why Portis made it over Williams.

well, Pro Bowls have always favored those who start strong as opposed to those who finish strong. We all know Williams should have made it......but for a relatively unknown guy a late season surge makes things tough. If his season was reversed and his tear was at the start of the year what the Skin fans didn't wouldn't have mattered.

I would say Beason and Williams, but the pro-bowl is a fan popularity contest so one or both will probably get snubbed this year.

If the MVP award is really about the player who is most valuable to their team, then Williams should be an MVP candidate... think about where we would be without him.... Williams = our offense.

This makes no sense what so ever. Being the most valuable player for a bad team means nothing compared to being the most valuable player for a good one. If you are not valuable enough to make yor team a winner than you are not the most valuabl player in the league. Don't get me wrong I love WIlliams and I think he should be in the pro bowl. But to say he shoud be a MVP candidate is just nonsense...

The only one with a chance is Beason and that's because he's come on later in the season. DeAngelo won't make it.

Williams is 3rd in rushing in the NFC despite missing a game

Williams is tied for 3rd in TDs in the NFC

Willians is #1 in yards per carry out of RBs with at least 100 carries.

Who gets the 3rd spot then?

Shame Davis got injured, or he would easily be the Panthers most deserving.

:iagree:

Too bad that he still would not have gotten in though. No one outside the Carolinas even knows about him, for the most part. Sad too, cause he was rock solid this year like the lightswitch finally flicked on 110%.
