Is it still the starters?

I just tuned in and saw the td pass from Fields to Herbert. If he is a smidge slower he gets nailed here by two defenders. Then once Herbert catches the pass he has one of his offensive lineman out of bounds, another on the ground and EQS at WR is just running behind a secondary player with his hand on his back. I know its preseason but this was rough to watch despite it turning out well. 1739531609_Screenshot2023-08-12at2_18_16PM.thumb.png.4d86ddf1e8f06cdcb92006b1734531f2.png

Richardson with a nice run around the edge on a zone read that's coming back due to a hold.

It sounds like he’s going to be carrying that team if JT doesn’t come back. Even then, he will still have a lot to accomplish. I’m rooting for the dude.

Yeah they don’t have many weapons. Hopefully Downs can turn into a nice slot WR for him.

The announcers in the Bears game were saying how it's so good that Vrabel stepped aside for this game to allow one of the assistants to be HC for the game and how the minority coaches needed such opportunities so people would consider them for HC jobs. They even said temp HC has 26 years of coaching experience between the NFL and college. Yet Vrabel got an HC gig with just a few years of coaching under his belt and they act like that is fine.

Minshew looking GOOD. Unless AR develops really quickly Minshew should be the week one starter.

Plus, he's the type of QB my boy Josh Downs can do some real damage with.

Love Minshew. Wish we had him here as the backup in case our rookie gets dinged up. I trust him over Dalton and Minshew got a nothing contract.

It’s preseason.  Mine hew was garbage as a starter for Philly last year

I wouldn't hold spot starting against him. He has a couple NFL season under his belt working in trash environments where he did great, better than anyone we have trotted out at QB since prime Cam.

    • "It’s a tricky spot for Cincinnati to be in—finding a team to give up a premium pick and $30 million (or more) per year for a 31-year-old pass rusher isn’t easy," Breer wrote. "Hendrickson’s camp at one point told the Bengals they could bring home a first-rounder for him, but that hasn’t happened." After Cleveland Browns edge-rusher Myles Garrett signed a four-year, $160 million extension—with an NFL-record $123 million in guaranteed money for a non-quarterback—Cincinnati's negotiations will only get more difficult. Despite posting back-to-back 17.5-sack campaigns, one of the biggest hurdles for Hendrickson will be his age, as he’s set to turn 31 next season.
    • "The asking price for Trey Hendrickson was also very high," Wolfe said on Wednesday. "The Bengals are asking for a first-round pick and more I was told and teams are waiting that out and hoping that that market drops a little bit when the Bengals come down and maybe they can get that top pass-rusher." https://bleacherreport.com/articles/25170132-trey-hendrickson-trade-rumors-bengals-seek-1st-round-nfl-draft-pick-more-deal
    • I mean, whoever the scout is in charge of knowing the Gamecocks.....clearly gets listened too.   Gotta give him credit for that.
