I'm convinced a lot of the people who post on this board (especially game threads) are either teenagers or younger at most, and/or just plain frickin idiots.

DON'T JUMP!! It's preseason game number one with a rookie qb, entirely new coaching staff, new defensive scheme, lots of new pieces everywhere, etc. These are glorified scrimmages for @%^&$ sake!

So he plays with 3rd and 4th string, but he can't do anything against 3rd and 4th string defense. Clearly he doesn't have it. 3rd and 4th string has nothing to do with it. He's not ready to be an NFL QB let alone a backup QB. 

 

It's time to move on from him.

At the end of the day it's preseason you don't want to read too much into things. But the Panthers media did a good job of hyping up the staff and bringing in old faces with connections to the team aka the emotional factor. Seen all that before none of it wins games. Hopefully things look better next week.

This is the most embarrassing preseason game I can remember in recent years.  So much for kicking off the new era with hope and optimism.

It's just preseason and it doesn't matter but another blowout loss at home wasn't what this fanbase needed to kick off the new regime. Deep breath and let fitt work on the OL

Can't recall a more bummer of a preseason game ever lol.

Again, we have plenty of time and all, and preseason doesn't mean much ultimately, but this is complete and utter ASS.  Like we have shown NOTHING to be encouraged about.  The OL is supposed to be the deepest, most talented unit we've had in prolly a decade, and does not require gameplanning to be functional and they've gotten their ass handed to them the whole game.  The defense has been gashed, which is a little more easily explained with the scheme switch and all, but ooowee mayne, this poo is ugly.
