I wasn't adamant, but I definitely was on the Stroud train until a week or 2 after pro days. I am 100% onboard with Bryce now (I was wrong), obviously, but I won't judge Stroud too harshly yet.

My observations are that Stroud is a rookie and no matter how good you look in training camp, your first appearance in a real game is a whole different scenario. Of course Mills looked more comfortable out there.. which is why we should probably temper our expectations on Saturday. Having said that, if Young DOES impress, we'll KNOW we have something special. 

Other observation: Holton Ahlers is a legit QB. He proved it in college. In three exhibition games. And even last night. Whether or not he gets a chance is another thing entirely.

he has no line, no pocket presence and can't read a defense. sounds like an ohio state qb. can't wait for end of season to chime in to those who still wanted this guy. he's setup for failure down there. their defense will be good, but that's it.

He can be a good QB if he has a supporting cast around him. I agree though he is setup for failure with the Texans. No Oline, No WR's. Poor guy will have a tough rookie season if they decide to start him.
