Where there’s smoke there’s fire. Everyone wants to be the first to have said it when he is absolutely great.

I disagree though, there (predictably) hasn't been much national coverage for Bryce. Anything posted in here has been teammates and guys connected to the team discussing him.

If you turn on NFLN they are mostly discussing Anthony Richardson and gassing him up.

Bryce's hype is warranted given his resume.

AR will get more hype simply because he's eye candy 6'5 240 fast, strong, rocket arm. Same reason they discussed Cam a lot during his prime.

Young will earn his respect on the field.

I love what we're hearing about Bryce but I also feel it needs to be said that his brain isn't the only reason he's a #1 pick. He also has incredible accuracy and touch. There are a lot of smart QB's that are career backups. I think there is a difference in understanding what is happening and having the ability to execute it on the field. Bryce has a skillset that allows him to take advantage of the weaknesses he sees.

Granted he hasn't played a down yet in the NFL but thus far he's excelled for multiple reasons.

Watching him throw and seeing his anticipation and touch is unlike any QB I've watched on this team. He has a cerebral calmness in the pocket and delivers on time and on target just about every throw.

Bingo this isn’t hype this is reality. This isn’t singing his praises it’s acknowledgment he is what we heard he was. All we’ve been hearing about are things his teammates and coaches are experiencing first hand there’s no extra hype being doled out. Rookies don’t usually ever run protection meetings there first week of training camp, rookies don’t usually take in and understand the playbook over the summer before camp. He’s just different he’s that computer that Steve spoke about after watching his individual workout there’s a reason he had the highest cognitive test score by far he understands football at a higher level then we are use to and his praises are a direct reflection of that knowledge.
