I will say when he does catch the ball he's looking for a dude to pop on. LOL.

I could be completely misremembering but wasn't there a play where he completely chickened out on putting his head down and getting to the sticks on a 3rd down? Like completely laughably so?

I'm not expecting anything from him this year. Hurst was brought in to catch passes, Thomas is the blocker.

I will say it was pretty telling what Tremble said about how they are actually being coached and taught things by their TE coach for the first time since he's been there, so everyone in that room might improve compared to last season.

Yessir.  It was against the Bears a couple of years ago.  Had he delivered the contact rather than receiving it, he almost certainly would have had the first down.  It was the kind of play you expect a TE to make.

I hope he comes around, but I just don't have any reason to believe he will at this point,

    • That’s a book of the great life that the Panthers have had. So great to look back on the great players and seasons that we have had. But I think the book could have been twice the size. We have had a good 30 years, up and down the standings. i know we are in a bad spot right now, but hopefully before long we will be climbing back towards that Super Bowl championship
    • LmAO ..it does not make any sense whatsoever why a team that is currently 2-0 would  trade their backup Qb to a team that is 0-2 & in the same NFC conference ? & what is Seattle going to do if Geno Smith is injured ? wouldn't a team that is  currently 2-0 & is quiet  possibly going to the playoffs  want a decent plan B that already knows how to operate their system & has some form of chemistry with their players  , like I said before this is the NFL &teams especially ones like Seattle  are NOT going to trade their backup Qb 2 games into the regular season...just saying
    • Yeah, I can see that happening, but my only thing is, whoever he goes to, it's going to be a bad team. Not a whole lot of difference between us and say Denver, Jax, the Giants or the Colts. Of course, we're probably worse, but not by that much. Manning would have to pick his poison.
