If Delhomme Starts Sunday....

I said this before New England and will say it again. To win on Sunday we will need at least 24 points.

Who gives us a better chance to score points, Jake who has had games where he has thrown for 34 and 28 or Moore who couldn't score more than 16 points in a game where they got 6 turnovers.

Sure Jake could suck and we score only 10 points, but for Moore that is just about his average over the last 2 games. Moore doesn't suck but he is too worried about making mistakes to air it out and throw it. Instead he will nickel and dime it resulting in too many three and outs. Even after a big run or pass we end up stalling. Given that Minnesota will shut down our rushing game, who thinks Moore can beat their secondary for 3 scores??

I think Moore can do it but I do agree he is going to have to stop worrying about making mistakes. He's going to have to take the reigns off himself. He even said that post game yesterday.

Really who gives a fug who starts and who sits?

They could put Beason in at QB for all I care. There's no chance of the playoffs; hopefully neither QB will start next season..I could care less who they have filling the slot under center until the offseason.

This is no longer about what Fox's record ends up being...Even if it's 8-8...It's the WAY his record came about.

well, the weather was bad and it was his 5th start....what did you expect?

I expect the points to come from the run game. Fox should have put more on Williams. Not now though....although knowing Fox he will probably give Williams 35 carries against the Vikes and get him beat up. Minny is the one team on the schedule I don't think Fox can have a chance just running it....and that will be one of the few he probably attempts it.

what about the 1-12 buc's?

Im just being objective.

P55 is right- WE NEED POINTS, and you better believe that Jake knows he can deliver, he knows he owes the team.

I don't think anyone thinks Moore will score 24. To suggest Jake will is absurd.

if you want to cherry pick a small number of games. In the last 4 games....a Moore led team has averaged 13 pts.....and Jake 11.5 in his last 2. Jake 1 TD and 5 turnovers. Matt 1 TD and 2 turnovers.

this was all jake's work

given that every time the panthers' running game was shut down Jake looked even worse who thinks Jake can beat Minnesota's secondary for 3 scores?

might be a little late for the guy...

If he starts I will pull for him, and hope he throws for 300+ yards.

But I dont think we have a chance to win the game, not against a 1 loss team.

Thats not a time to "learn" how to play. Folks talk about putting jake in against that defense, well what the hell do you think is going to happen to Moore?

It wont be pretty....

Vinny T had experience.....didn't make him a better QB than an undrafted rookie in 07.
