Why is everyone giving up on Matt MoorE?

The point is it's easier said than done, everyone wants a Manning or Brady or Brees but finding that person often takes time and some bumps, not just a high draft grade

No doubt, but its kinda like the lottery you sometimes gotta take the bigger risk to get the bigger jackpot. And unfortunately your eventually going to have to buy that lotto ticket. You can't just expect to keep picking threw others trash hoping to find one.

IF, Matt Moore had of been a first or high second round pick. Sat on the bench and learned the game for almost 3 years. Last few games of his 3rd season got a chance to play and showed us what he did Sunday, people would be screaming bust.

He is not very accurate, his one "good" throw everyone is touting, the TD to Smith. Was almost knocked away because he did not lead him very well. Was it a bad throw, no. Would a good QB had put it a little farther out there, yeah. His deep ball looks like maybe some one dropped something out of the Goodyear blimp.

Everyone talks about his pocket prescence. I don't think it was that great. Not bad but he likes to bail a little too early. He needs to realize that once you cut from the pocket the field gets cut in half too. Unless you are Favre. If you have time in the pocket stay there.

He looks lost. I think maybe it wasn't as bad as Morgan made it out to be on the radio. I don't think he knows the playbook as well as he should. He was reading from the ole' wristband a little too much. Like maybe he has a limited # of plays he is comfortable and knows well.

Overall, he played well for a backup, but I really think that is all he is. He might excell in a WCO, were he was asked to make short quick throws. Pretty much he is just a career backup.

And this is why we will Trade Stewart (to seattle) for a 1st round draft pick.

IMO..

Wouldn't mind that. I doubt that we can get a 1st for him though just to much for them to use against us with all his missed practices and minor injuries. I know he never misses games but other teams will still use it.

Some of you need to raise your standards. Fox has indoctrinated your thoughts to the point where you actually believe that mediocrity is the best that we can do.

***SLAP****

Snap out of it!

You're killing me......No Moore! Please stop!

Oh well... *kicks rock*.. *sigh*... I guess Moore is good enough. :frown2: :puke:

Stewart can EASILY get us back into the 1st round.

Seattle wont want to spend all that 1st round money, they know what Stewart can do, and he even LOOKS like Alexander :)

And the other 5 this decade by a UFA, 6th rounder, and Brad Johnson (when did he get drafted?). Just saying.

That 6th rounder just so happens to be the best QB in history IMO. It goes to show you how important a franchise QB is to a super bowl bid. And teams have historically had the best chance in the 1st round to find a franchise QB. Sure you can find them in any round if your lucky (Patriots fans are the luckiest bastards on the planet).

I hope your right just so we can get Toby Gerhart in the 2nd maybe 3rd (yeah no one thought S. Green would fall to the 3rd but he did). He would be an awesome complement to Dwill.

    • I mean that’s not an argument I go with… But in ACC play, both Clemson and SMU covered the spread more than Miami.  Miami didn’t cover in 3 games.
