did you watch football? Tampa was a better team when we faced them the 2nd time. That is why they shredded the defense this time.....we got lucky bending so much and getting all those redzone picks. Jake gave them some offense in that last game. Moore gave them nothing.

but if you want to be bias call them the same level of horrible in both matchups....I am fine with that. Moore still played better than Jake against the one common opponent.

Yup and the key is that Moore is not turning the ball over. With our defense and running game, we can hang in there when we're not turning the ball over. I don't think there's any way we can beat the Vikings or Saints if they are full strength, but I think we can play a respectable game against them as long as we don't turn it over, and that's where Moore is better than Jake so far, hands down.

Even if Moore began turning the ball over as much as Jake, I think he still gives us a better chance to win by virtue of the fact that he's also capable of hitting Smith downfield... it's two weeks in a row now, teams are gonna see that on tape and have to respect the deep passing threat which will open things up for our running game.

yeah, Beastson. I honestly thought part of the reason some of our past receivers have failed so completely is that Jake really, really locks onto one target. Moore passes the ball around pretty well I feel like - but it just seems like Rosario, Moose, and Smitty are his only legitimate threats regularly.

Man, I wish Jarrett had come on like I thought he would... He has the physical skills. =|

Moore goes through his checks and spreads it around, but his accuracy is college level. Decent deep ball when he has room to step into the throw.

Jake is dumb as a box of bojangles when it comes to finding an open reciever. To make matters worse, he can't throw the deep ball anymore.

Neither option is going to lead us to victory. Personally, I'd rather watch Jake finish this season. I want him to totally own this train wreck. But strategically speaking, we need to see more of Moore. I've made a snap judgement that his accuracy is poor by NFL standards, but I think he deserves a change to prove his ability, or lack thereof.

Moore started out pretty badly last week. Seemed obvious he had the jitters. But after the first three series, his accuracy was pretty good. Started out 0-4 (and a horrible looking 0-4 at that), but then completed 15 out of his next 26. There were lots of missteps on offense, especially the illegal formation penalties, that hurt us in the second half. Moore's accuracy in the second half was not a problem. And his ability to avoid the rush is far better than Delhomme's.

If he can come out Sunday without the jitters, he should be ok.
