With the 1st pick take a WR

the FA WR choices available are MUCH better than any FA QB options coming out. i'd say they were also better choices than the ones that are going to be available in the draft.

find your WR in FA and draft your franchise QB. this makes much more sense.

look at the WR FAs that could be hitting the market.

that same thinking goes for a 2nd round QB

ok,Rayzor who would you take in the 2nd and 3rd round?

best QB available in the 2nd.

3rd round....BPA. WR, DT, FS, SAM, DE (if we lose pep), return specialist.....any of these would be fine. we need upgrades in all these areas.

If you get a guy like Boldin then yea take a QB in the 2nd..but the only guys I like in the 2nd are Snead and Pike.both may be gone by the time we pick.

This was the thinking when the Chargers drafted Ryan Leaf.

This was the thinking when the Chargers drafted Philip Rivers.

This was the thinking when the Chargers drafted Drew Brees.

how about..

This was the thinking when the Steelers drafted Ben Roethlisberger.

This was the thinking when the Colts drafted Peyton Manning.

This was the thinking when the Ravens drafted Joe Flacco.

This was the thinking when the Falcons drafted Matt Ryan.

we could go on all day on both sides of this. because some teams failed taking the risk means that we should avoid it?
