Chicken-Fried Bacon

Take a pound of bacon, slice in half (it curls up when you cook it). Mix an egg with about a cup of water in a shallow, wide bowl. Doing one piece at a time, dip the bacon in the egg bath and then the breader(I put the breader in a tupperware sandwich holder thingy, so I could bread 4 at a time). Coat both sides and drop into fryer for a couple of minutes.

deep fryer? why not just use a deep skillet or a wok? cheaper, more versatile.

Deep fryer has a strainer basket and a lid.
