Not after yesterday

well, until Fox acknowledges Moore will finish out the season or Jake is on IR......the word from Carolina is Jake is still the starter......and based on Fox's history I still believe if Jake can practice that Fox will play him.

Really doesn't matter cause like I said, Jake run is over and the season is over. Neither will be in lead next year

ok....the season may be over.....but Fox still claims Jake is the starter and Moore is only playing b/c he is hurt. At this point, I have to take Fox at his word based on his history....if Jake was "done" like you claim then Fox would but him on IR this week and pull the kid from the practice squad.

The season is over, and Jake been over. Moore is the QB for the rest of the meaningless season, so stop comparing and mentioning him. MOVE ON

You dont think Moore is the future, fine. Talk about possible future picks, and stop talking about Jake. This not only goes for this forum, but all the panther sites

Why would we stop mentioning Jake? Its obvious jake is done, but the qb of the future should and will be compared to the success jake had when he first came in. That is a division title, two playoff seasons, a super bowl appearance, and a pro bowl in his first 3 years. However, I do agree that we should not talk about or compare the next franchise qb to jake from 2009. We might sign peete if all we expect is an improvement from that.

Good point. Next seasons starter should just be better than 2009 Delhomme. Matt Moore is already that but that is a low, low, low bar that is set. We need someone who can gives us at least what Jake did in his best years......maybe that is more or maybe a FA vet.

When I say done, I mean as in he's no longer capable of being a starter in this league anymore. He doesn't have it anymore

Now Martin was playing fine and Godfrey came back but I think thats less noticeable than the QB situation. I know Fox is an idiot sometimes, but I highly doubt after last night unless Matt plays horribly next week, that Jake will play for a whole game again

Moore will get the start against the Giants. He played well enough that Fox feels he gives the team the best chance to win right now. All of you who claim you know Fox, should also know that he wants to win the next 2 games, and he will play whoever he thinks gives him the best chance. right now that is Moore.

He may be loyal but he is far from stupid.
