its sad to say but i would guess yes..fox still speaks as if moore is a temporary replacement until jakes finger heals..

i sure do hope he gets fired ASAP, but im starting to wonder if richardson even wants to fire fox..there hasnt really been any real evidence that fox might lose his job..normally when a coaches job is on the line or getting to that point the owner will make some type of statement to the press or atleast something leaks out...there has been no real sign that fox is in jeopardy of losing his job..and that is what really bothers me..

the fact is that if we get slaughtered and moore is awful, then why shouldn't Fox look at all possibilities. Injury or not, Moore is in there because Jake wasn't doing the job. If Moore doesn't either, then it opens up the competition again. After all for Moore to keep starting he has to be better than Jake not just as bad. That is the life of a backup. As long as he plays well, he will start. If he falters then who knows.

Delhomme's finger has been checked by doctors. Medical records exist stating that it is broken. Unless you actually believe someone would risk their career falsifying medical records just to help a professional football player save face, I'd say that pretty much tells the story.

Fox's belief that Delhomme gives the team the best chance to win is genuine. It may be incorrect, but it's genuine. If he could go, he'd be starting.
