I would say Mallet is ahead of Pike in QB rankings and golden tate would not last that long.

Mallett in the 2nd round would be ridiculously fortunate. He might have the most upside of any QB in the draft.

It very well could happen. The only team selecting ahead of the Panthers that has a need at quarterback that I had draft someone other than quarterback was Minnesota. If they select a non-quarterback, Mallett could fall to us. Or Pike I guess, but I don't like Pike nearly as much as Mallett.

Honestly, I don't get why Colt McCoy is getting hammered by the draft pundits. The guy has had a bit of a rough season but he also has to be his team's offense on every down. They haven't had a running game since he's been there.

IDK..he's the winningest QB in college football history. That has to count for something.

I would be almost alright with the EB trade last year if it yielded Mallet in the second. Kid is going to be a solid player in the NFL.

It's better than a lot have been recently. Also, keep in mind that the new thinking in the NFL is that you *must* have a franchise quarterback to win. More teams are going to gamble in hopes of hitting it big.

Looks pretty good actually. I don't see KC taking McCoy under any circumstances, even though he is a good value at #6. Also, I don't see Jordan Shipley falling to the 3rd. I'd swap him for Brandon LaFell in your mock.
